Major Update

Design the real thing

Web Frames bring working interfaces onto the Visual Wizard canvas, so you can explore ideas in context, refine what is already running, and keep design connected to real code.

  • Bring a local React, Next.js, or Vite project onto the canvas as an interactive Web Frame beside your Design Frames
  • Move naturally between a live, usable interface and visual editing without rebuilding the experience as a separate mockup
  • Navigate real routes, reload a frame, focus it at browser size, and return to the same place when you continue working
  • Inspect, select, and refine rendered elements — including multi-selection — with the same precise canvas and layout controls
  • Use the lightweight canvas Agent for focused changes, or connect your own coding agent with the current board, frame, and selection in context
  • Run project previews through the Visual Wizard CLI and carry approved work back to the source project with a safer, more predictable workflow

Platform Update

A more connected way to build

This release brings external coding agents into Visual Wizard and strengthens the entire building experience, from reusable components to preview, performance, and project access.

  • Bring Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, or another MCP-compatible agent into your workflow with access to the project, canvas, selections, frames, and design system
  • Create and refine reusable React components directly on the canvas, with more natural control over instances, properties, placement, and structure
  • Work more smoothly across boards and complex multi-frame projects with faster updates, steadier selection, and more predictable editing
  • Recover from problems with clearer guidance, a consistent editor and Preview experience, and an optional AI-assisted path to a fix
  • A refined experience across onboarding, authentication, pricing, and the editor makes the journey from idea to working interface more cohesive

Design Tokens

A real design token system

Colors, spacing, and typography can now live as shared tokens instead of one-off values scattered across frames.

  • Define color, spacing, and typography tokens once and reuse them across every frame
  • Tokens compile to real Tailwind utility classes — update a token and every frame using it updates instantly, everywhere
  • The AI assistant can read your current tokens and create, edit, or delete them on request

Launch

Visual Wizard is live 🚀

After a lot of late nights, Visual Wizard is officially out — design visually, get real React + Tailwind code.

  • Frames are now the single root source for everything you build, for a cleaner and more predictable structure
  • Elements can be freely repositioned with absolute placement inside a frame
  • Refined color palette and icon set across the editor
  • Canvas now opens centered and ready to work
